Golden milk
Golden milk, made with turmeric, milk (or a dairy-free alternative), and spices like black pepper, cinnamon, and ginger, offers numerous health benefits. Ingredients
2 cups milk (coconut, almond, cashew)
1 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
pinch of black pepper
1 tbsp maple syrup, optional
To a small saucepan, add all ingredients. Over medium heat, bring to a light simmer.
Cook for 5 min, whisking often. Taste and add maple syrup to taste.
Divide mixture between two mugs. Enjoy!
